Fun in the sun & lazy afternoons!

Pawsitively Petastic is located in Mahopac, NY.  PP is family owned and operated since 2009.  We have created a facility that mimic's the comforts of home including couches, a king size bed, and a dining room set.  We want our dogs to feel as though they are visiting grandma's house rather than a "kennel".

We never cage or crate.  We separate by size, age, health, and personality. 
PP is committed to the highest quality of care, giving you peace of mind that your baby is receiving the same care, love and attention they would receive at home.  
We offer a safe, clean and loving environment for all our visiting babies whether staying overnight or joining us for a day of fun with friends.

Our doggy daycare program offers a 12 hour day, Monday thru Friday, full of outdoor/indoor activities, lots of mental stimulation and human interaction by our caring Canine Supervisors.  Weekend availability for our boarding pick up and drops... Saturday 8am-11am and Sunday 8am-11am.  You are welcome to bring your dog for    3 hours of daycare on the weekends if you need, but full rate will apply.

When Choosing a Pet Sitter... choose wisely.

 

When interviewing and considering a pet sitter, please consider the following:

 

  • Does pet sitter have regular office hours and after hours visits?

  • If a voicemail, text or email is sent, how soon will it be returned?

  • How much notice is needed to schedule a visit?

  • Does pet sitter have established fees in their brochure or on their website?

  • Is pet sitter insured and bonded?

  • Will the same person always visit your pet?

  • Does pet sitter meet with you and your pet in advance?  Is there a charge for this visit?

  • How much experience does pet sitter have in caring for your particular type of pet?

  • Does pet sitter willingly and happily provide references?

  • How much time is a typical visit to your home to care for your pet?

  • Does the pet sitter have a website for you to peruse?

  • What if medical care is needed for your pet?

  • During the consultation visit, does the pet sitter appear comfortable in caring for him/her?

  • How will the pet sitter confirm your pets well being after visiting?
